Sometimes this happens even to famous masters.

Even some famous masters have allowed certain inconsistencies in their works, despite creating world-class masterpieces. I think this happens when a creative person becomes too fixated on their main idea and sometimes misses important details. Sometimes, they discover inconsistencies when they consider their work already finished, and then they leave everything as is. And it should be noted that viewers and almost all art connoisseurs seem to overlook these errors because the master is a celebrity of great stature!

I, too, seemed to have almost completed another major work of mine, to which I devoted quite a while. However, carried away by the burning idea of creating a uniquely historically significant painting, I also allowed a significant inconsistency. I'm sure you can clearly see this, too. Since I am not yet a celebrity, I will correct this important mistake and only then publish it on the site for general viewing and evaluation.

Wow! Today the first real snow fell

Today, January 31st, the long-awaited event has begun! Today the first real snow fell, which is a great rarity in our region.

Like many others, I love snowfall very much, because it is a gift from the Almighty. Under the cover of snow, the soil and everything on and under it enters a state of rest to gather strength and then release the generous gifts stored in its depths.

I decided to connect this wonderful natural phenomenon with my actions, because today I finally launched my website. And, like some successful artists from whom I draw inspiration, I have uploaded some of my works to it. Now, relying on the support of the Great Creator, I expect a generous return from the products of my creativity.

Along with this, I am extremely grateful to all the admirers of my work who patiently waited for the launch of my website to have access to more of my works of art.

Plein Air on Pilot Mountain

A dialogue with nature

Plein air painting at Pilot Mountain is a dialogue with nature, where the wind becomes a co-author.

Each brushstroke is born quickly and decisively, as if trying to capture a fleeting moment before it slips away. The wind sharpens awareness, deepens concentration, and infuses the work with the raw energy of the place.

In these conditions, painting ceases to be a quiet act and becomes a living, honest response to the elements.

This is more than plein air painting — it is an experience of freedom, strength, and direct communion with the landscape of Pilot Mountain.

Plein Air Painting on Smoking Mountain

I once spent an unforgettable time immersed in the stunning beauty and majesty of Smoking Mountain. I spent my time plein air on one peak, painting other mountain ranges, and also lived in a high-altitude cabin on another peak.

What made it unforgettable was that, in addition to the natural beauty, the indescribable view from above, and the energizing atmosphere, my creative process was accompanied by wonderful country singers.

And the most interesting thing was that in the evening, a black bear came to visit us in the yard, and naturally, we had to offer him our polite hospitality. These are the kind of surprises artists can encounter while painting plein air! And it's wonderful and unforgettable.
